The Pell City PD has partnered with CarFax in order to provide quick access to accident reports for our citizens. Accident reports are available online for citizens at crashdocs.org. To download the report, the requester will need the case number, date, and last name of one of the drivers.

Report are still available for pick up at the police department during normal business hours.

The Pell City Police Department offers fingerprinting services to help our citizens with work, licensing, or other official needs. Our team is here to provide these resources to make the process easy and helpful for everyone in our community.

The Pell City Police Department provides a secure, "no-questions-asked" drop-off location for unwanted prescription and over-the-counter medication. The drop box is located in the lobby of the police department and can be accessed during normal business hours.

Before dropping off your items, follow these steps to protect your personal information and ensure safety:

• Remove all identifying information from the labels on prescription bottles or containers.
• Place the medications in a sealed plastic bag.

Before releasing a weapon or other property, PCPD must ensure the person requesting the property is the lawful owner of the property, all facets of the law are addressed and that no weapon, in PCPD’s possession, is released to any person forbidden to possess that weapon. The City of Pell City and the Pell CityPolice Department offers an official Internet Purchase Exchange Location, or “Community Meetup Spot”, on First Avenue in the parking lot of the Pell City PD. This area is for people who are buying, selling, or trading items on the internet and need a place to meet with someone they might not know. It also eliminates the need for two strangers to exchange items at a home or a residence.

The locations is public, well-lit, and has video surveillance. This program helps to ensure that both buyers and sellers can come to in-person transactions with more peace of mind. 

The Pell City Police Department coordinates vehicle towing services to help keep our city streets clear and safe. We are here to assist residents with information regarding vehicle removals or recoveries.

During vacation seasons in Pell City, please remember the the Pell City Police Department’s Patrol Division is able to periodically check on residential property during an owner’s extended absence.

The Pell City Police Department offers off-duty detail services for local businesses and organizations that require a police presence for special events or security. We coordinate with our officers to provide professional law enforcement support outside of their regular shifts.
